In the search for water and home, the young cactus, Yisemah, ventures across the dessert through the lawless, midwestern town of ‘BreakNeck’. Facing adversaries and opposition around every corner, the young wanderer seeks to sate his thirst in more ways then one.
The first production made onboard the Ark Creatives team, this 2D animated short is the product of love and thirst. As a team of hungry creatives, the search for more, for purpose, is a never ending journey. As human beings, the desire for community and home is a need. Yisemah reflects the passion and reaching desires of a town made up of lost hopes finding their passion once more.
Yisemah is set to hit the screens in Spring 2025!
